My challenge

So I was working on some challenges for an online crop when I got it into my head that I wanted to challenge myself to simplify things. I wanted to take a break from all these embellishments and patterned paper that surround me. My objective: to create a LO using only white cardstock. I could use any color media I wanted , plus tools such as stamps and punches. Well, here's what I came up with. The flowers are stamped with tombow markers and a mist of water. The journaling is a Penny black stamp. I cut out each word and inked the edges. The flourish is from an awesome acrylic stamp set from Fancy pants and the flowers are punched from white cardstock and then colored with watercolor pencils. The center of the flowers are dots of ink from a souffle pen. What took the longest was photoshopping the picture. The original actually had another person in it. The girl's cousin was standing between them, and unfortunately he was eating a roll and had a mouthful of food and his eyes were closed. I altered the picture by taking him out and covering the area with bits of the background flowers. I'm pretty happy with the way it came out! TFL!
