Sharing a couple pages...

It's been awhile since I've posted anything. It's been awhile since I've actually made anything either. I finally got some pictures taken of the pages I did while at scrap camp and thought I'd share a few of them. Have I told you about scrap camp? It's a biannual 4 day three night scrapping extravaganza held at Happiness is Camping. ( Check out the link, you'll be happy you did - and while you're there, click on the "how to help" tab ) It's a wonderful time, and I can't wait till the fall camp!

I love photo booth strips, they're so much fun to scrap! So I went with some whimsy on this one... Sassafrass Lass, Puffy plastic thickers, a fun pom-pom ribbon, and an accordian fold flower with a sweet Jenni Bowlin button center. Making Memories mini alpha stickers make the journaling a breeze!

When I saw this picture of Monika and Bryan, I instantly thought of an old picture my husband and I took of ourselves. I did this one up Prima style, bling, flowers, paper, even brad. A fun, simple trick I saw on a mini book at CHA this past winter: Stick down a length of redline tape, remove the liner and cover with glitter for a very cool look. (You can see it right below the picture on this layout.) Here's the journaling:
"I look at this picture of the two of you, and I'm reminded of another young couple, bright young faces, shinning with joy and expectation towards the future, and I can't help but smile and be hopeful that your future holds as much love and passion as that other really cool couple has had."

Love these Elisabeth! Photobooth strips are the greatest aren't they? Great job.
