The story only you can tell...

I wanted to make a journal jar, no, I NEEDED to make one. I envisioned this jar, glass slightly cloudy from age, a label so brittle it looks like it might crumble, filled with slips of paper- each one with a different question or idea, prompting me to tell a story about myself. I already had a spot in my nook set aside to give this jar a home...so what do I get? A brand new, crystal clear square jar with a shiny silver screw on lid...not very vintage looking at all. Fine with me...that just means I get to play around and try to make it look like something I found in Grandma's pantry. A bit of walnut stain sprayed inside the jar, a smattering of alcohol inks on the lid, some inked lace, a vintage finding and a funky alpha stamp set and I'm done, ready to pull out a slip of paper and tell my story, because really who else can?
