Last night I sat down in my scrap room to work on a few challenges from 365 cards. I loved this weeks challenges - each day had a letter and 3 prompts starting with that letter. I loved the prompts and decided to add my own favorite challenge: no patterned paper. I allowed myself a piece of cardstock for the card blank; everything else had to be done with white cardstock. I pulled out my studio 490 stamps {cause Wendy has some awesome background stamps} and started playing! Here's what I came up with:
day 335: Dark Brown, Diamond and Distressing:
The background is embossed diamonds, which I lightly overstamped with a background stamp, inked with distress ink and added texture with water droplets and some gold perfect pearls.
day 334: Blue, Blossom and emBoss
I love the way the background came out for this card - dark blue ink to stamp the design on white cardstock, inked over with distress inks and accented with a white pen.
day 333: Green, Glitter, Grosgrain
One of my favorite Wendy Vecchi background stamps on this card!
Day 332: Red, Rhinestone, Rickrack
and finally a simple craft cardstock background on this one, stamped with Wendy's splatter background stamp.
