Couldn't sleep last night...

I suppose it might have had something to do with the Sabres loosing to the Ottawa Senators (Grrrrr!) Oh well, I spent my time wisely and got a few more of this week's challenges done for 365 cards. This first one was for day# 340. The challenge was to have a heart be the dominant shape on the card so of course I automatically thought of the "Straight from the Heart" {ippity} set. I used the large heart on the background paper (which is the back side of the cool rose paper in the card below), colored the tree image with copics and chalks and then added glossy accents to the "heart" leaves.

The second card I made was for day# 338, the color scheme challenge - that's right, purple, pink, red and white...I fell in love with this piece of prima paper and just had to use it on this card! The hearts are from the "Devoted" set and are embossed with ranger Adirondack embossing powder in eggplant, with a touch of a white gel pen and some distress ink. I used the background stamp from the "Because of You" set on the strip of pink cardstock and the sentiment from the "Straight from the Heart" set is stamped with white SU! craft ink. Wow, that's alot of {ippity!}! The card base is simply embosed with the swiss dot embossing folder and sanded.

Thanks for dropping by!

I'm again so inspired by your cards. Both of these are so gorgeous. I like the first one for how you used the stamps sets so perfectly and I especially like the second one for the stamps and paper used. Awesome job as always!
