Another Card challenge,..I'm on a roll!

I think I have a serious ribbon problem, I love it, I covet it, I purchase mass quantities...but then I don't use it cause it's too pretty and I don't want to use it all up. Well that's all going to change! (mainly because I'm running out of room) Starting with this card, I'm going to use up those ribbons I've been hoarding, waiting for the perfect project, not wanting to use it all up...because honestly, there's always more gorgeous ribbon to be found - starting with this gorgeous teal and brown confection (and yes, I designed the entire card around the ribbon) I started with the current sketch at Card positioning systems. I was just perfect for what I had in mind! The frame stamp is from the "regal Greetings" {ippity} set, (Which just so happens to be my featured set this week!) and I embossed it with my second favorite embossing powder, Verdigris by Ranger. A quick run through my cuttlebug with a nestie, a bit of distress inks and I was done. I have no intention of admitting how long it took me to tie the bow.

Absolutely stunning! Aahh ribbon. I do the same thing. Well not just ribbon, all embellishments really. I start to use it and then say no, I might need it for something else. Then I end up hoarding it!

You're right, that ribbon is awesome! But I'm glad you are using up your stash (gives you an excuse to covet more ribbon) hehe. I'm not a ribbon addict but I am a paper and alpha addict so I can still relate.

Love that ribbon! I'd have not only a serious problem using it but tying the bow too! You did a great job. Looking forward to seeing you on June 12 & 13. I heard we sold out by 11:00am!
