Only three days left till camp - scrapbook camp that is! Thursday morning I'll be leaving for 4 fun filled days of scrapbooking, laughter, a viewing of "When Harry Met Sally" and very little sleep, I can't wait! I stayed up late last night (much to late!) working on a few cards to share today. The first card is for the color challenge at
Play Date Cafe, and what a challenge it is! After 3 separate (unsuccessful) attempts I decided whimsical was the way to go with this color combo (not a direction I veer off in too often) and for the first time I inked up
"A Little Buggy" . Phew, that was difficult!
The second card came a bit easier for me. I used this week's sketch at
Card Patterns and this week's
Color Throwdown of Melon Mambo, Pacific Point and River Rock. Patterned paper is from Echo Park, Stamps are from the set
"You Deserve" and I finished it off with some stitching , pearls and trim.
