That which Inspires...

Good morning, and good weekend wishes to everyone! I was up last night till 5 am finishing up my inspiration book. It's a 8.5 x 11 sketch book that I altered with plans to fill with clippings and such in hopes of bringing some order to my magazine chaos. Journaling on the front page reads: "Within these pages, you will find a bit of this and a bit of that. Some pictures and quotes, some colors and notes. Ideas and thoughts and even some fonts. Anything and everything that might amuse..or jolt or prod or even confuse. This is my spot to put it all down, in hopes that the telling will help me to bloom when creative obstruction continues to loom. I'll paste it, I'll stamp it, I'll give it some wit. I'll tear it, I'll cut it, I might distress it a bit. I'll alter and change it to make it mine... add bits of ribbon and maybe some twine. And in the end I hope to have found that inspiration is all around."
Now comes the challenging part...to actually remember to put things in it, LOL! Thanks to the ladies who came to crop last night, I had a blast! To all you BSS lurkers out there...you should come join us... and bring food, we were hungry last night! Next month I'm planning a little "scrap or treat" party at the store...who's interested? (there might even be costumes involved!) More info on that to follow...if we're lucky we might be able to convince Marty to come as Hermione:)

Love your inspiration book, you are much like me, great on the execution of the book, tough on the follow up to actually use it.

I'm sorry you couldn't see the Williams Tell Overture for Moms. You would have loved it!. I saw your inspiration book in the back room and knew it had to be yours. I've got a miserable cold with a killer cough and headache, not in the mood for anything! If I can get my act together, Friday's sound great.
