Last day, and off to Hollywood!

Well, it's the last day of CHA, it always amazes me how quick the days go by and how totally exhausted everyone is! Our flight back isn't until 10 tonight so we're off to do some sightseeing in Hollywood! Lots of cute stuff this year and some new tools; I was really happy about an old tool, redesigned - score pal has made a card maker friendly scorer!!! it's 6x6 and has score lines every 1/4 inch and some every 1/8 inch. nice and compact for crops!

Here's a card I made with some new October Afternoon paper and the simply home stamps, which you can buy here; sorry for the dark picture:

Another h{ippity} hop!

Welcome to this week's h{ippity}hop, brought to you from sunny California! My apologies for the lateness of the post...I forgot all about the time zone change! Well, I got a few cards done in my hotel room the other night that I thought I'd share with you. The first one is a shabby little card made with Bo Bunny papers and stamps from the "Because of You" set from {ippity} (available here).

The next one is made with some SEI papers from the new Jocelyn line, and the "Just Wanted to Say" kit. A super simple card accented with just a bit of twine and buttons. I only brought one tiny little bag of supplies to play with so I'm a bit limited in what I can make, LOL.

Don't forget to check out all the other stops on the blog hop today. The links are posted on the {ippity} blog!

End of day 2

Finally back in the hotel after a great day. Found some really unique products at the Supershow that made me happy, stopped in at the {ippity} booth

... did a make and take (serious sneak peek here of some of the new stamps)

Went to a fun Hero Arts class - The following card was taught by Jennifer McGuire. The flower was colored in with one of the new distress inks, barn door, a gorgeous vibrant red. (sorry for the poor lighting on these pics)

We closed out the evening with a party at SEI, where we got up close and personal with their new lines. I think my favorite was Claire - pretty pinks, oranges and taupe. (more on that tomorrow)

Well, off to make a few cards before I call it a night!

One day down

Spent the whole afternoon and evening with new product presentation...very cool stuff coming out this time! My vote for most innovative products goes to this presenter -recognize him? His die cut machine continues to be shrouded in mystery. No clues as to what color it may be, what it looks like or any special features - we've just been promised that it's really cool!

Today's a busy day...first , going to the supershow. I'm very interested to see what it's all about! Going to do some make and takes, maybe a bit of shopping, but most importantly will be stopping at the {ippity} stand. {Rumor has it yours truly has a few things in the display there!} 3pm will find me taking a hero arts class and then the evening will bring a creative impressions party and an SEI party.
