It's a rainy Monday
here in Northern Jersey..pouring rain, thunder and lightning and I love it! Hopefully it will cool things down some, but I'm not overly optimistic. Well, Christmas card season started this week in the Ostrowski scraproom, and right away I reached for the "Season of Joy" kit to create this following card. The background is stamped with a SU! background stamp on green cardstock, then I embossed a Studio 490 splatter stamp with tacky powder and applied crystal loose glitter for a glimmery snowflake effect. Lots of distress inks to give this a worn look, a bit of krylon edging and tada...done!

A quick hello
...to share a card I just made for a special friend. I based the card on this week's sketch at Card Positioning Systems and I just adore the way it came out! I used the July card kit from Treasured Scrapbooking. (this is card number 6 and a layout and I still have tons of scraps left!) Papers are from Jillibean Soup, stamps are {ippity}, the "season of Joy" kit and "the Music of My Heart" kit.
Thanks for stopping by...Hope you're having a great weekend!!!

Let's Hop!
Happy Monday everyone, hope you all had a fantastic weekend! Mine was a bit crazy with a lot of running...I just got today's card pulled together this morning! I started out with this weeek's sketch from Our Creative Corner. I used October Afternoon papers and stamps from the following {ippity } kits: Season of Joy, the Simple Things, Now and Always and Where you Should Be. I just love the way these {ippity} sets pair up so well together! A bit of lace, some ribbon, buttons and glossy accents provided the finishing touches. Thanks for stopping by and thanks for your comments, I truly appreciate the time you take to leave a few words! The full hop listing can be found at the {ippity} blog .

My {ippity} stamp special continues...purchase any set that I have in stock from the Fall, 2009 collection or the Winter, 2010 collection and get a free card kit with a 6x6 paper set and embellishments!

Another FWF Friday!
So excited for the weekend, going strawberry picking on Saturday, getting our first organic farm share of the season and will be putting up some strawberry jam...yum! The dress for the rehersal dinner is in da house (along with matching shoes) and I'm loving it! Still waiting on the dress for the actual wedding - any day now... The wedding present is on it's way, just got shippment confirmation - things are coming together! OK, enough babble...Friends with Flair!
I used three {ippity} stamp sets for this card, Season of Joy, Fall for You, and Simple Things. Paper is from My Mind's Eye and SU! cardstock. Accented with dew drops, ribbon, twine and a gold Krylon Leafing pen. I used sketch #64 from Card Patterns as my inspiration:

Thanks for stopping by, your comments always start my weekend off right! As always, the full list of participants is on the Unity Blog - May you find creativity and inspiration on your quest for the secret blinkie!

Hello, Hello!
...and a happy Monday to you! I woke up this morning determined to start off the week with a smile on my face and a jump in my step - I'm hoping it will carry over to the rest of the week :) Countdown to my daughter's wedding continues: T minus 13 days and counting. Still not sure what I'm wearing, but hoping it all gets ironed out this week! (or else I'm in trouble, LOL) Anyways, you're probably here for the h{ippity} hop, so let's get down to it. My first card showcases the Now and Always set, using the inside of one of the flowers with some paper piecing and the scroll stamp. The sentiment is from The Simple Things set. Paper is from My Mind's Eye and the card is finished off with a bit of glossy accents in the center of the flowers and a bit of silk ribbon.

The next card showcases the Season of Joy, A bit of Burlap and Regal Greetings sets. The paper is from the EverAfter line by Cosmo Cricket. I'm pretty sure the Bit of Burlap is going to become a staple on my craft table. I might as well just keep it mounted on it's own block and keep it out, considering how often i reach for it!

FWF and new ippity!
Good Morning everyone, welcome to another Friends with Flair - which means it's Friday and that's good news! The card I have to share today was made using three of the new Spring Release {ippity} sets: The sentiment is in the "A Moment in Time" set, the Label outline is in the "Season of Joy" set and those adorable corners are in the "Fall for You" set. The background paper is My Mind's Eye and the polka dot is from October Afternoon. Finishing touches include machine stitching, a bit of gingham ribbon and a bit of trim from Webster's Pages.

Make sure you check out the Unity blog for the full list of FWF participants. Leave a little love everywhere you go, but most importantly, keep on the lookout for that secret blinkie - you just might be the lucky winner!
